Profile
Born and raised in northern California, I've spent
eight years
in international residency living and Here are images from
working in England, Sweden, Japan, and the People's my latest collaborative
Republic of China. I've recently
accepted a position as project, Erythros
Assistant Professor in the Art Department at the
University of Maine, in Orono, Maine, starting this
September.
My digital work spans many disciplines including
filmmaking/video, music composition/audio, interactive
technologies, dance, and live performance. My work
often explores themes of
cultural and geographic
displacement as well as perspective and paradigm shifts.
I have a Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies
from California State University, Chico (2002) where I
studied under Dr. Raymond Barker. My M.F.A. is from
the University of Oregon (2006) while studying under
Colin Ives.
I've also studied under Craig Hickman and
authors
Toni Graham and Steve Metzger.
